What do I need to get started with ABA Therapy?
- Start by filling out our contact form and a member of our team will be in touch with you within 24 hours. Or, you can call us and speak with us during business hours, or leave a phone message with us at any time.
- After that, we will call you to help take care of insurance paperwork for you.
- Then, one of our expert clinicians, known as a Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) will come to your home to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of your child. The BCBA will create an individualized treatment plan based on the results of the assessment.
- Finally, we will begin ABA therapy for your child!

What does a typical ABA session look like?
An ABA session usually starts out with the RBT® building a connection with your child by engaging in their favorite activities. Then, the RBT® will alternate between structured and unstructured activities that are child-led and play-based to target the goals in the treatment plan. The RBT® will also collect data on your child’s progress which allows the BCBA® to monitor progress. Each session is tailored to your child- planned with careful consideration of their therapy goals, progressing abilities and even their favorite activities!
Will my child enjoy therapy sessions?
That’s the goal! ABA sessions are focused around play and are filled with positive reinforcement so that your child stays motivated to learn. We do not use any punishment techniques and we keep therapy centered around activities that are child-led and play-based.
